History

An El Paso landmark and institution, the Italian Kitchen opened its doors in 1948, and specializes in home cooked Italian cuisine. The family owned and operated restaurant features family recipes, like Spaghetti with Chile con Carne and Cheese. The unique menu also features traditional items, such as the Eggplant Parmigiana. Each meal is served with a side salad and bread and if that's not enough...don't forget to save room at the end of your meal for some amazing Tiramisu. The restaurant is so popular in El Paso, they opened a second location in March 2007, The Italian Kitchen West, to accommodate their hungry customers. The new location features outdoor and indoor patio dining and a bar with a big screen TV. Of course, the tradition of a friendly and helpful staff remains the same at both locations.
